About
Hi,
I’m Jim and I’m a big car enthusiast. I started this blog as an Anti-Toyota.com, but soon enough I decided to change the domain – it came with wider area of interest (more brands, more topics, more opinions).
About cars: I’m a motoring fan. When talking about cars I look for some “X factor”, that distinguishes one brand/make from another: either design, driving pleasure, modern solutions, innovations or just that something that makes You feel good in the car… I want to find some passion in it… I’m tired of reading the same car reviews in each newspapers – full of tables, dimensions and practical advises. I can find all these numbers on producers website… What I want to read is how the car “feels”.
I like more TopGearish attitude. Have You ever driven a car that was reviewed like great, superb, practical… but felt like You didn’t fit in the car? For me – it’s about the X Factor.
The “X factor” for example: Subaru car is a legendary 4 wheel drive of Impreza. Every time I drive a Subaru, I’m astonished about the amounts of grip it produces. “X factor” for Toyota would be that… it’s liked by everybody, by being average in everything to suit everybody’s taste. Therefore this image is not too positive, I don’t like them much and I believe they can do way better than this (Supra, Celica??).
What You won’t find here: Super car news and reviews. I prefer more “down to the ground” motoring… I want to find a fun car what regular Joe (like me) can buy and drive it to work. I don’t need to search for the sporty feel and driving pleasure in Ferrari or Bugatti, I know they can do it, but how many people can afford them?
I’ll write what I do and what I don’t like in particular ones (ex. when accountants decide about production). Looking for some “edge”… You can read more about my “car attitude” in the very first post on this blog (which was meant to be against Toyota products). I won’t give You tables, technical data tables or galleries – You can find plenty of these all over the web. Instead You will find here personal thoughts about the cars and motoring world. So if You are a driver or a car fan, who has a passion for motoring, performance and/or design – I’m sure that You’ll find this blog interesting. And if You will, please support me by commenting, subscribing or You can send an email
Regards,
Jim
PS. As I’m from Europe therefore some visitors from US may not recognize makes or models I write about. Sorry for that – every market has differences. Although I try to keep track on all countries specifics.
PS3. Also sorry for my bad english
I do my best…

Got your Comment on my article: 2009 Dodge Challenger: Chryslerâs Retro Remake. As far as the pink, that came with the site, I just write the content. However, it is different and different can be good. I do agree with you that Americans and Europeans have different definitions of a “small” car. AllSmallCars.com tends to report on small to mid-size cars. We go up to mid-size because they are tending to get mileage that compares to some of the small cars, so it is good for people who are looking at micro or minicars to know what other options there are. I have been looking around your site…good stuff. Keep on commenting on things you like or don’t. Good conversation is great for the site! Cheers!
