Focus RS chip-tuned by GGR

Ford Focus RS in performance blue
Ford Focus RS is a pretty strong and fast car. It has over 300 HP and torque reaching 440 Nm (324 lb/ft). Not bad for a hatchback. You would assume that this is more than enough for a front wheel drive and a 2.5 liter engine. Tuners were not satisfied though… Graham Goode Racing prepared a performance solution that raises the maximum horsepower of the RS to 340, and torque to almost 540 Nm (398 lb/ft)! And the changes that were made to achieve that, were pretty simple. They reprogrammed the engine electronics using “Superchips” chip. There were no mechanical changes or body work done…
What more, the system allows to store original engine profile in case when the driver decides that the new version of the engine is too much for him (or her). The chip also allows to adjust the settings further in case when the mechanical changes (new exhaust, bigger turbo, fuel injectors etc.) would appear.
GGR claims that optimum torque and power is available for use in wide range of RPM – 2750 up to 5600. Also they give the 12 months (or 30 k miles) of warranty.
This chip is priced at 435 GBP + VAT. That’s only 10 pounds for each HP
