Focus RS chaser revealed
Focus RS vs ?? at Millbrook
Autocar.co.uk just revealed the Focus RS chaser from the video published a week ago.The video echoed through the internet motoring fans. We started guessing and speculating about who is the “lime green” car keeping up and reflecting in Ford’s body in few shots.
My favourite votes were: Lotus Exige or Porsche 911… I even saw Lambo comments (at least colour fits very good). These 3 would complement RS’s speed and agility. But the real answer is a lot more “down to earth”… Check out the video…
The chaser shows his face
It was a stock Renault Clio Sport that managed to keep up with the recent “hot hatch king”. Disappointing? Maybe a little…
But the same reason that allows Clio to keep up with bigger Focus RS, made Focus RS a capable competitor for a supercar Nissan GT-R (see video below) and during Top Gear test against Ford GT. So it proves again that it’s not only about power. It’s about agility as well. And this one is achieved with low weight and lots of grip (good power/weight ratio). I wonder how would Caterham (news from today) compete with all cars mentioned here, on this hill road 
PS. Clio seems like a great litle performance car… But why did they choose this colour? Poor car…
